Cara Murphy highlights that while large-cap earnings growth is expected to remain stable, small and mid-cap earnings are projected to accelerate into the second half of the year. This, combined with more attractive valuations, presents an opportunity for investors.
“So take small and midcaps for instance. What you see are that large cap earnings are expected to be really high, but about the same for the second half of the year. Okay, Small and MidCap earnings growth is much lower than large cap, but it's accelerating into the second half of the year and valuations to change, right exactly. So I think as that differential narrows, you have an opportunity.”
