Evan Smith, CEO of Altana, explained that his company's mission is not to retreat from globalization but to "fix" it, making it more trusted, secure, and fair. He believes trade should continue across borders.
“Well, trade touches virtually every part of our lives. Or most of them. And, um, our mission to fix globalization, right? So, we're not retreating from globalization. We're leaning into it, but we believe that globalization needs to be fixed. It needs to be more trusted, more secure, more fair.”
“And, um, and that's a recognition that, uh, trade will and it should continue across borders.”
