The Trump administration has reinstated tariffs on goods from over 80 countries, citing concerns about forced labor enforcement. These new tariffs, implemented under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, replace previous tariffs that were struck down by the Supreme Court. The tariffs range from 10% to 12.5% depending on a country's efforts to combat forced labor.
