Several leading AI companies, including Nvidia, Microsoft, and SpaceX, have established a new consortium called the Open Secure AI Alliance. This move follows Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's call for open AI models, with the industry reportedly concerned about the rapid advancement of AI in China, partly attributed to more open models.
“A bunch of big AI companies, including Nvidia, Microsoft, SpaceX, IBM, and a whole host of others are creating a new group called the Open Secure AI Alliance.”
“It comes after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang shared an open letter last week, arguing in favor of open models in general.”
“But the US AI industry is clearly concerned with how fast China's AI is improving.”
