Palantir CEO Alex Karp expressed dissatisfaction with frontier AI models, suggesting they lead to a loss of trust and a waste of enterprise resources. He argues that companies risk losing their intellectual property to these models, which may then compete with them.
“Our clients are just to say they're unhappy with the frontier labs is to say I'm welcome at the Berkely, you know, faculty. It's like, there's just a level of discomfort and loss of trust.”
“So, is this, I'm not throwing shade at them. But something has gone completely wrong and the basic view among enterprises in this country is I'm going to chillax and, uh, and waste my time with tokens. I'm going to get no value and they're going to get my IP.”
