Jeff Hindcock from Fairfax, Virginia, achieved his 50-state goal by visiting Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. His trip was partly motivated by a friend's cancer diagnosis and a desire to see the woodchipper from the movie 'Fargo' at the North Dakota visitor center.
“It turned out Hawaii and Alaska were relatively easy for me.”

“The morning I left North Dakota, I, I stopped by the visitor center where they have the Woodchipper from the Fargo movie.”
