Kevin Given, co-founder and CEO of Saitronic, discusses his new venture focused on bringing automation and robotics to warehouses for smaller e-commerce sellers. Saitronic aims to reduce fulfillment costs and increase speed, making smaller businesses more competitive with larger players like Amazon.
“So, um, it really is physical AI for commerce is what we're building.”
“And so we're able to take that task that cost like, even the best out there, in labor costs, like $2.50 per order. That's their cost. That's not what they that they will charge you. And we're able to take it down to cents. Uh, doing the actual robots.”
“But it's only available to like the largest retailers. It's not it hasn't even made it into the 3PLs that other smaller companies have done. 3PL industry is not automated at all.”
