Dan Slagan found that working in public with AI, even on sensitive topics like role suitability, was less scary and less 'big brother-ish' than anticipated. He believes most discussions and developments related to AI within an organization should happen openly.
“But my overwhelming takeaway was, working in public is a lot less scary than it sounds. And it's a lot less big brother-ish than it sounds. And actually, most things can and should live out in public.”
“And we also had conversations that I've never had in public before either. That we were sort of testing what an organization can handle. Um, talking about, you know, if a certain person is, is good for a role or not, and having that person there talking about it in public.”
