Airlines like Frontier, Spirit, Ryanair, EasyJet, and Wizz Air are identified as leaders in baggage revenue per passenger. Jay Sorensen explained this is because they embed baggage fees into their core offerings, including charges for carry-on and checked bags, and enforce these policies rigorously at the counter and gate.
“So, uh, yeah, I can see that. Okay, so which airlines bring in the most revenue per passenger, and why?”
“Well, I think, you know, the the correct mix of ingredients, you know, no surprise, Frontier is a leader, Spirit is a leader, and, and obviously, an airline like Ryan Air would be a leader as EasyJet, Wiz.”
“These are airlines that embed baggage into everything they do.”
“Well, first off, they're going to have a carry-on charge.”
