Andrew Kang believes Tesla is in the best position to achieve large-scale manufacturing of humanoid robots, citing their goal of a 10 million robot per year facility. He contrasted this with most other companies currently operating at the scale of thousands to tens of thousands annually.
“Do you think like Tesla will be the first company who actually has the wherewithal to manufacture humanoid robots at some sort of scale? Do they look like they're in the poll position from a manufacturing standpoint?”
“100%. Um, they have, uh, you know, they're working on a 10 million robot per year facility right now, which would be the biggest one by far. Uh, most companies are producing on the scale of thousands to tens of thousands of robots per year today.”
