During their visit to Lake Clark National Park, the Travel Squad podcast hosts had an extraordinary bear viewing experience, spotting a total of six brown bears. They first saw a mother bear with three cubs, followed by another mother with two cubs, and then a solo male bear, all observed grazing peacefully.
“Within minutes of walking on that trail, we saw a mama bear with three cubs. They were so close to us. It was unbelievable.”
“And then after that, we saw another mama bear with two cubs, and then a solo male bear. So, we saw a total of six brown bears during our time there.”
“And it was just magical. The bears were so calm and they were just grazing and doing their bear things, and we were able to watch them from a safe distance.”
