When asked for advice on scaling to the first thousand users, Fomo's CEO, Paul Erlanger, emphasized the critical importance of direct user feedback. He suggests continuous iteration based on feedback from 10, 100, and then 1,000 users, highlighting that passionate users in the crypto industry have provided significant competitive advantage through their input.
“Talk to them. You need to keep iterating until you have 10 people, 100 people, 1,000 people using it. And when you have 10 people using it, get the feedback from them. And then iterate on that feedback. And then 100 people. And then 1,000 people.”
“This is actually one of the largest competitive advantages for our company is in the on-chain and crypto industry specifically, the users are very passionate about using the products.”
“The web app probably became twice as good just in that week because we were able to get early feedback from people who are actually passionate.”
