Bloom Energy CEO KR Sridhar highlighted the critical role of electricity in the AI revolution, stating that electricity, not AI models, will determine the ultimate winners. He noted that Bloom Energy's significant revenue growth, with revenues hitting $2 billion in 2025, was largely driven by demand from AI data centers. Sridhar also shared his long-term conviction in Bloom Energy's business model, which he has believed in since its inception 25 years ago.
“Clearly, electricity becomes the key factor. We believe bringing power to the edge has to happen. Electricity in the world is a 5.5 trillion dollar market.”
“Today the market cap is approximately 93 billion, up over 1500% in a single year. Revenue hit 2 billion dollars in 2025, up 37% year on year, driven almost entirely by, yep, you guessed it, the AI data center demand.”
“For me, the period between 2001 and now the 25 years was never a question of if, it was a question of when and how soon.”
