Bruce Wolf highlights a significant challenge in the US retirement system: while accumulating assets for retirement has been successful over the past 40 years, helping individuals spend down those assets effectively in retirement is a less developed area. He emphasizes that the problem of living in retirement is fundamentally different from saving for it.

“And the key point there is we're solving for a different problem, right, Helping people save for retirement is very different than helping them live in retirement.”
