“Do you have real estate professional status? I will this year, essentially I left a high-paying W2 job that was not a good fit for me. So I went into real estate full time.”
“Okay, make sure to keep track of all of your hours because that is a huge red flag to the IRS when you have real estate professional status.”
“So just dot all your i's and cross all your t's when it comes to that and keeping track of it.”
