Steve Gibson revealed at the Black Hat conference that he has not yet retired his Windows 7 machine, highlighting his cautious approach to adopting new technology. He also stated that he has not used AI for code generation, preferring to write his own code and learn APIs manually.
“Everybody knows that, uh, that I was I'm a little bit of a Luddite or little slow adopter.”
“Are you still using Windows 7?”
“Uh, I do have, I have not yet fully retired my Windows 7 machine.”
“So, I am yet to have any AI write any code for me.”
