AI startup Volta Infra, backed by investors including A16Z and Altimeter, has secured a $10 billion contract for computing capacity from an unnamed leading AI developer, widely believed to be Anthropic. Volta Infra also announced a $300 million funding round at a $2.4 billion valuation. The Norway-based data center will be equipped with Nvidia's latest chips, and Volta plans to lease AI capacity to clients.
