The judges, Carrie and Stephen, will evaluate contestants based on the WILD acronym: Wallet friendliness, Ingenuity, Luxury, and Duplability. This means assessing not only how money-savvy and creative the trips are, but also their level of luxury and whether they are replicable by others.
“Then we'll assign points to each leg of their travel according to, we love our acronyms, this time it's WILD, wallet friendliness, ingenuity, luxury, and duplability.”
“So, are they acting in a money-savvy way, that's not just spending their way to a great trip with cash? Are they practicing, um, ingenuity in the point tricks that they are hopefully drawing from their years of experience? Um, are they traveling in some kind of luxury?”
“Um, and then dupl ability. Are they doing things that could be done by somebody else? They're not doing something that's so niche that it's only something that they could do.”
