Starting August 15, 2026, Chase Sapphire lounges will no longer be accessible through Priority Pass or LoungeKey memberships. This change affects the network's nine locations, meaning only eligible Chase cardholders will have access. Chase is implementing this to combat overcrowding.
“So, starting us off, effective August 15th, 2026, the Chase Sapphire lounge network locations will leave Priority Pass and LoungeKey, which are two of the biggest airport lounge memberships.”
“However, after August 15th, you do not get that free visit. You also can't even pay to get in. The only way to get into one of these lounges is if you have an eligible Chase card.”
“So, what all this means is that Chase is trying to deal with overcrowding in their lounges and they're taking away access for people who do not have a Chase card.”
