I mean, I would say for me, my parents just started from a really early age, just pushing us outside. My brother and I grew up with mom and dad, specifically mom. Dad was at work and mom was just like, go outside.

And then, you know, I went to the crag and watched people rock climb and had no idea what it was or how to do it. And I just sort of lurk around and watch what they did. And I was very much a self-taught young sort of aspiring mountaineer.
