Tony Schneider has officially taken over as the CEO of Blue Sky, transitioning from his interim role. He previously served as CEO of Automatic, the company behind WordPress. Schneider outlined his vision for Blue Sky, emphasizing a decade-long perspective for the company and its underlying AT Protocol.
“I was already involved with this project because I met the team a little over two years ago, probably about the same time Jack was on your podcast.”
“And so I agreed to be interim CEO, really initially because I was still a general partner at True. And, you know, it's a firm I helped build, it's an amazing firm.”
“On the inside, it doesn't feel very different. Actually, the move to drop the interim is more important on the outside, especially for the atmosphere and the At Protocol community and people building on this protocol and in this ecosystem, just to say like, no, I'm here for the duration.”
