Younger workers, particularly Gen Z, are more likely to identify as AI fluent and adopt AI technologies quickly. However, this increased fluency is accompanied by concerns about job security, specifically the potential elimination of entry-level positions due to AI automation. This creates a double-edged sword where embracing AI technology might lead to fewer opportunities.
“So you think about Gen Z for a minute. We did find that younger workers, especially Gen Z, they're more likely to self-identify as AI fluent. So they're adopting this technology quicker, but it doesn't always mean that they're more capable. It could just be a result of their exposure and experience.”
“But they're also worried that, you know, that means they're not going to have entry level jobs to come into. So it is kind of a double-edged sword there.”
