S&P 500 Earnings Exceed Expectations Amid Broad Strength

The S&P 500 earnings season is off to a strong start, with a high percentage of companies beating both earnings and revenue expectations. Ten out of eleven sectors are showing year-over-year growth in earnings, with eight experiencing double-digit growth. Overall earnings growth for the quarter is now projected at around 47%, significantly exceeding initial expectations.
