Clem Chambers Predicts Bitcoin May Not Have a 'Next Cycle' as Institutions Take Over

Clem Chambers believes Bitcoin may have seen its last cycle, as it has transitioned from a retail-driven phenomenon to being controlled by institutions. He notes that these institutions are not interested in Bitcoin's original ethos of autonomy and sovereignty, but rather in profit extraction.

And there might not be a next cycle, because all the cycles we've seen up to date, um, with Bitcoin, have been B2C. And now it's B2B. The C's are out. You know, all all the believers, all the all the normal people that that rode that that rail with Bitcoin, they're not there anymore. It's all institutions.
All they care about is getting their fangs into it and draining all the liquidity out and buying houses and jets. So, now that crypto is under the control of B2B, it's not a good thing. I mean, Satoshi would turn in his grave.
And so, I think there's a good chance that Bitcoin 50/50 has had its had its time.
