Mark recounted his recent four-week holiday exploring Cape York Peninsula in Queensland, Australia. He described the trip as "brilliant" due to the warm weather and the opportunity to see diverse landscapes, from rainforests to station country.
“I'm in Barrel, New South Wales, which a lovely part of the world. But winter is about five months long and it's cold when it is cold. And so I spent best part of, I wait for five weeks, but four weeks of holidays. Uh in a situation where the temperature never got below about 20. Uh and was about 22, 25, 28 for most of that time. So made it was brilliant just from the weather alone.”
“I've never done Final F. Queensland before. I think I spent two days in Cairns at one point for a work thing. But other than that, getting up through the Dane Tree Rainforest, up through some of the station country up there. Got the very tip. Got the obligatory photo. Um at the at the tip of Cape York Peninsula.”
