Binance CEO Richard Teng believes that while institutional interest in Bitcoin is strong and growing, the traditional four-year cycle, influenced by halving events and mining costs, remains relevant. He notes that the influx of institutional investors brings greater diversity to the market.
“Well, I think different people believe in different narratives, right? So the the institutional narrative is definitely correct.”
“But, you know, I mean, personally, this is my own view. I still believe in the four-year cycle because, you know, with the halving episode and scarcity coming into play, uh, on a four-year basis, I do believe that that is still at play, uh, the cost of mining is still important.”
“So I think all those are important. But, you know, I mean, personally, this is my own view.”
