Jack Schwager notes a new trend in his latest book, "Market Wizards", where several young traders cited playing video games as an influence on their trading skills. This is a departure from previous "Market Wizards" books, where video games had never been mentioned.

“Yeah, I mean, there are certain differences that strike out. Which which, uh, strike out is the wrong term. Strike one. Uh, and like for example, uh, not one, not two, not even, I don't even remember how many mentioned that video playing video games was kind of an influence.”
“That they were real, real fanatics about video games and they ended up being short-term traders and the skills were compatible.”
