“Personally, I prefer to book a transfer direct to my accommodation from the airport. Taxis not just initially, but all over the world. I don't know why, but they can be pretty dodgy and they often refuse to take card even though they're not supposed to, and they can charge you too much if you are not really paying attention.”
“For me, it's simply easier to pay. A little more, maybe ten euros more, and go straight to where I want to go with someone who's going to pick me up at the arrivals area and take me buy car in a nice car that doesn't smell to my hotel.”
“If you want to use taxis, it is best to book online with the taxi apps that work like Uber, because Uber isn't really available in Italy that's a whole nother story.”
