Nate Berkus shared insights into his current life phase, encompassing the joys of fatherhood, a strategic reboot of his brand with new licensing deals, and the emotional journey of caring for his mother who has dementia. He emphasized a thoughtful approach to future television projects, prioritizing meaningful opportunities over mere visibility.
“I'm traveling through the joys of fatherhood, which is incredibly rewarding in all these different ways. I'm also traveling through sort of a reboot of my brand, which has been really interesting. We've signed like sort of eight new licensing deals in the last two years, and we're working with all these really interesting partners in all these different categories. So I feel very re energized around that.”
“I'm traveling through what my next sort of television project should be, what it should look like, what it should be about. And there's lots of things swirling around that right now as well that I you know, I'm fifty three. I don't want to make like a decision just to be on TV. I've never that's never been the goal.”
“And I'm traveling through a mother who has dementia, which is you know, my mom was such an incredibly forceful, wonderful sort of guide to me as a child, as a teenager, and as a young business person. So it's a really interesting time for the family in that way.”
