Nate Berkus described Luang Prabang, Laos, as one of his favorite places, praising the Aman resort's architecture, which is a former French colonial hospital. He highlighted the town's tranquil atmosphere, the saffron-robed monks, the night market, and the immersive cultural experiences, including a boat trip on the Mekong River.
“Yeah. And it's French colonial former hospital exactly. It's the land of sticky rice, Like what could go wrong?”
“And you know in Luang Prabang, you have you know, it's it's this languid town on a river and it has you know, the monks in saffron roads and it feels like of another ear and.”
“And so we went and made our offerings to the monks. One morning, Jeremiah, I was like, what time is that. It's like it's at five. I was like, I'm not doing that. He was like, you're doing it because you'll never forget it. Of course he regretted it. No, I we did it, Okay.”
