“But you know, objects really tell a story. They represent sort of often when they've made it this far from their origin, they represent sort of the best of craft or the best of design, or the most important wave of interest at a certain time or period in a culture.”
“And so my eyes were actually opened esthetically more not from seeing things when I was young, but seeing things, not places but things.”
“And I've always felt that interiors, the best interiors, really do represent the people that live in them, but also represent not just who they are currently, but who they've been, what they've loved, what they've lost, what they've seen, and probably equally as important, who they aspire to be.”
