Europe is seen as having missed significant technological trends like AI, similar to its past misses in technology during the dot-com era. This failure to embrace and build new technologies, coupled with a focus on regulation, is hindering its market potential.

Sure, and you can't. You can't miss these mega trendgity you can't regulate your way out of them. And I think that's what they're doing.”
