Adam Taggart sees parallels between the current AI trade and the dot-com bubble, questioning whether the market is in early 1998 or early 2000. He notes that many in the industry acknowledge it's a bubble, and the key question is whether the peak is near or has already passed.
“And, and basically, what you have to do when you're in a bubble like this historically is you just keep going until you discover that the top was behind you. And that's what we're doing right now with the AI trade.”
“The question is, is it using the comparable to the dot-com era? Are we in late 90s, early 98? Or are we in early 2000? Right? Are we closer to the beginning or the end of the game here?”
“Everybody who I talk to who is in it, pretty much acknowledges that it's in a bubble.”
