Stephen Auf of Federated has a long-term outlook for the S&P 500, projecting it to reach 9000 in three years. This projection is based on an earnings number of 4.50, which he considers reasonable for stocks at this juncture.
“So you know, we look to the mountaintops. I'm looking out three years. We've got the S and P at nine thousand. That's probably you know, against an earnings number of four point fifty is not an unreasonable way to think about stocks here, So uh, yeah, we kind of look at it that way, Tom, Steve, and I.”
