The hosts discussed their favorite Hyatt stays, with mentions of Grand Hyatt Kauai, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, and Hyatt Regency St. Louis for its location near the Gateway Arch. Tim highlighted the Hyatt Carmel Highlands (formerly Big Sur) as a fantastic property but noted its recent increase to Category 5, making it more expensive in points. Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in Puerto Rico was also suggested as a beach resort option.
“Um, so I'll try and keep it concise off the top of my head. The Grand Hyatt Kauai in Hawaii. I don't know if I would book it now with how expensive it's gotten with, um, the various devaluations, but I guess if you can get it at its lowest pricing by some miracle, then, um, that could be worth it because yeah, it's an amazing property.”
“Um, so I think that, uh, that's a good list. Uh, I'll just add on to that. Uh, first of all, um, Greg, you said you haven't been to Big Sur in a few years, but the property itself is still there. It's it's still called the Hyatt. Uh, it's, uh, it's called the Hyatt, uh, it's called the Hyatt Carmel Highlands, uh, but it's, it's a Hyatt, uh, property. So, uh, yeah, I do agree that it is a fantastic property, but it is now a category 5, and, uh, they have significantly increased the number of points needed.”
“And then, one where it's not necessarily an amazing hotel itself, but the Hyatt Regency in St. Louis, um, it's an absolutely fantastic location right next to the gateway arch.”
