Greg prefers a simple $12/day AT&T international plan, capped at 10 days per billing cycle, with a discounted rate for a second line. Another panelist uses AT&T but opts for a local SIM or eSIM for longer or remote trips, finding it more reliable. A third panelist, living in the UK, uses Talk Mobile for local service and previously used Google Fi for international data.
“I I just do the lazy thing of, um, we have AT&T Mobile service and we just pay the, uh, $12 a day.”
“Yeah. Um, I also have AT&T. If it's a short trip, I'll do the lazy thing like you Greg. If it's a longer trip, it's especially if I'm going somewhere remote, then, uh, if I'm not going somewhere remote, sometimes I don't even pay for service. I'll just assume I can use Wi-Fi, uh, in my accommodations.”
