The annual Bastille Day fireworks display at the Eiffel Tower in Paris has been rescheduled to July 13th, one day earlier than the traditional July 14th date. This change by the City of Paris is to allow for solemn remembrance of the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Nice terrorist attack. The event will feature 1,600 drones, an increase from last year, with themed sequences celebrating the French Navy and the sister city relationship between Paris and Rome.
“The big fireworks show at the Eiffel Tower will not be on July 14th. Instead, it will take place on the evening of July 13th, so just one day after this episode releases.”
“The City of Paris moved the event by one day to let everyone focus on remembering the 10th anniversary of the Nice terrorist attack of July 14th, 2016, which claimed the lives of 86 people and injured hundreds more.”
