Bob Sheehan of Lighthouse Macro details his career journey, starting at Bank of America in portfolio management, where he managed both large-cap equity and multi-asset portfolios. He later transitioned to macro shops like Trane Macro and Ström Capital Management, incorporating data science into his macro analysis.
“I started my career at Bank of America and I was on a portfolio management team.”
“So, um, I started there and that's, um, that's been honestly the bulk of my career was was on that team. And then after that, I actually went to a couple of macro shops.”
“I went to, um, Trane Macro, where I, uh, worked with Frank Trane Macro, I'm sure a lot of people were, are familiar with him.”
“And then I actually, uh, stepped away and went, uh, back to school. So I had always been kind of the, uh, data geek, let's call it, let's call it at my, uh, at Bank of America, especially, um, and I went back to school to learn data science.”
