Chris shares his struggle with a newfound fear of flying, despite his childhood dream of being a pilot. He mentions trying to overcome this by flying in helicopters, but recounts that the helicopter he flew in crashed a year later, killing the pilot.
“When the turbulence kicks in, my body starts to panic a bit, right? It's like fight or flight mode.”
“And the idea that being in them makes me have like a fucking panic attack now. It's quite frustrating.”
“The fucking helicopter crashed, of course, a year after I flew it.”
“It's a tragedy. Um, and yeah, it's quite chilling to be honest, because that helicopter company, um, they they've got some, you know, they've they've got a shop in Harrods and a shopping Selfridges and that's about it.”
