OpenAI is merging its ChatGPT and Codex applications into a new 'GPT Work' app. This consolidation aims to combine the general capabilities of ChatGPT with the coding and productivity features of Codex, which included integrations with calendars and Google Docs.
“There's some pretty big updates to the product of ChatGPT. I think that's the biggest thing is that the new GPT Work app is here and it's going to take your existing ChatGPT app that you know and maybe love, and this other app called Codex, which was seen more as like a a genic coding like go ahead and build software with it.”
“But it was so much more than that. You could connect it to calendars and productivity apps, and it could read your Google Docs, etcetera, etcetera. And they're smushing them up.”
