Josh Gruenstein shares that Tudor has built a 100-robot fleet called Data Factory One in Boston to serve as a research test bed for real-world reinforcement learning at scale. He notes this allows them to run methods that are typically inaccessible in traditional academia or industry due to batch size requirements.
“And so we built this 100-robot fleet called Data Factory One in Boston. This is, to our knowledge, the largest sort of semi-humanoid data collection farm in the United States.”
