Alex Thorne explained that historical price action shows the 200-week moving average acting as a bear market floor and the 50-week moving average acting as a ceiling. He noted that Bitcoin has spent five or six weeks trading over the 50-week moving average, which historically signals that the bear market bottom is in.
“the 200-week moving average has been the long-term floor of bear markets, and it's obviously only gone up that average over time.”
“So we're now five or six weeks of trading over the 50 week moving average. The data set is, you know, three or four bear markets. So it's, you know, it is what it is.”
