Scott McCartney and Dave Hilfman discussed the long-awaited FAA certification of the Boeing 737 MAX 10, the largest variant of the 737 family. McCartney noted the aircraft can carry up to 230 passengers and serves as a domestic competitor to the Airbus A321 family, with deliveries expected to begin next year.
“Finally, the FAA finally did certify that aircraft, which is the largest 737 variant ever.”
“WestJet's the launch customer and should get its first planes early next year. United expects max tens in the first half of the year as well.”
