Historical Success Rates of Corporate Acquisitions

Andrew Page discusses the historical success rates of business acquisitions, noting that roughly a third of acquisitions work out, a third remain a wash, and a third lose value. He cautions that because two-thirds of the time an acquisition is not beneficial, investors should approach transformational deals with healthy skepticism.
