Mark Cuban explains that Cost Plus Drugs developed robotic and AI-powered manufacturing facilities shrunk down into tractor-trailer-sized pods. He notes that the government was their first customer, purchasing pods that can be configured to produce various specific injectable or tablet medications.
“An extension of that, because we started working on that five years ago, we've been able to take those same robotics and AI and shrink it into a... a manufacturing plant, if you will, the size of a tractor trailer. And we call those pods.”
