David Capablanca shared that he did not make any money from trading for almost four years, from 2016 to 2020. During this period, he was focused on self-development, stopping alcohol consumption, avoiding negative influences, and consuming any trading material he could find, distinguishing good information from bad.
“Because for me, I started in 2016, late 2015, I didn't make any money for up to leading up to Covid, for almost four years. I was still trying, like, I was trying to, on my own, I was trying to figure out trading like, I didn't know when I first signed up for trading that I would have to develop into a whole new person.”
“I had to stop going on the weekends. I knew it was going to take a lot of studying. And I just, I was just devouring any material I can get and just going down rabbit holes of what I thought was, uh, real material. I was trying my best to avoid the bad material because there's a lot of bad information out there.”
