Oracle issued a force majeure notice in September to the developer of Project Jupiter, a massive AI data center campus in New Mexico developed by a unit of Blue Owl Capital for OpenAI, due to delays in securing necessary energy infrastructure. Oracle is seeking protection from certain payment obligations if the project fails to come online as planned in 2028.
