Chance Finucane noted that the XLE energy sector ETF is up more than 50% year-to-date, making it the top-performing sector by a wide margin. He affirmed that energy remains Oxbow's favorite sector despite recent trims in peripheral holdings like uranium and coal.
“it's up more than 50% year to date, which is essentially double the next best sector in the market, which would be tech. And I don't think anybody's thinking about just how good of a year energy has had. It's still our favorite sector at this time.”
