Spencer McIntyre explains that while AI models like Mythos and Opus are proficient at identifying vulnerabilities in code, they often struggle to bridge the gap toward creating functional exploits that prove attacker utility.
“A lot of the AI models, whether it's Mythos or Opus 5.5 or what have you, or the seem to be doing a pretty decent job at identifying vulnerabilities. But then Where people oftentimes struggle is with like, okay, this is a vulnerability you can look at in the code and you can understand like, you know, this is bad.”
