This can be obtained from public profiles, social media, or even personal voicemails. Sarian emphasizes the danger of AI voice cloning for scams, particularly those targeting family members.

“A lot of people have public profiles. So it's pretty easy to get that clip. A lot of times people also have a phone number and they have personalized voicemail or you answer your phone and people are talking to you for more than three seconds and they're getting a clip of your voice there.”
“Obviously, we're public figures, so they're going to easily get any clip of our voice from any part of a podcast or social media,”
